THE BRIEF

Axminster Tools & Machinery required wooden signs they could use at their retail facilities. Being specialists in point of sale printing, the requirement for print on wood was not an issue. The requirement to have eye-catching and professional signage, without sacrificing quality, was of top importance.

Through our consultations, we learned exactly what Axminster Tools & Machinery wanted from us. From there, it was a case of tooling up and getting on with what we do best - exceptional quality printing.

THE SOLUTION

Axminster Tools & Machinery decided to provide the material for the signs themselves, in the form of 3-4mm thick wood. This was going to be used to provide high-quality printing on both sides, using UV, white and then CMYK ink. At Axminster's direction, we ensured that the wood could be seen underneath the signwriting.

The final design was 600 x 200mm high. We're proud of our turnaround time, and as such, we were able to get the job done for Axminster Tools & Machinery in just one day. We were happy with the results, and the direct print signs looked both attractive and professional - wood printing always yields pleasing results!

Though at Creative Solutions we were happy with the final product, it was Axminster's opinion that mattered the most. And they loved their new wooden signs as much as we did! They're guaranteed to appeal to customers both old and new.
