Last year Kingsland Farm came to us to request a brand design. The main business is a shepherds hut where you can stay for a period of time and also future areas on the site that will be developed including a converted barn. The brand design needed to reflect this and be flexible enough to futureproof the design.
The initial brief was to create a brand for the farm itself initially. The main offering was the shepherds hut and the wheel was one of the iconic images the client wanted to use within the brand.
We produced several designs for the client and then finalised the final logo design. We illustrated the wheel to create an icon for the logo design that would be easily recognisable.
From this we designed subtle directional signage to complement the quiet and intimate nature of the location and venue.
We were then tasked in designing the website. Our first task was to look at the clients current site to see what functionality they currently had and how this could be replicated and improved. The main goal was to design a website that was in keeping and complementary to the location and experience. To do this we had to visit the location to meet the client and get a feel for the farm and location.
