Production Supervisor & Despatch Coordinator

Production Supervisor

Assist during the production process daily, performing numerous tasks as needed including creating and working to production schedules and coordinating between departments.

Facilitate production efficiency by reviewing works orders and resources when necessary to account for design changes, engineering issues, input from management, material shortages, work backlogs, or other issues.

Perform checks at the end of each production cycle by examining documents, products, materials, and work processes for efficiency, accuracy, and conformance to specifications and customer requirements.

Clean and maintain production area daily according to established, documented standards.

Communicate with management personnel as necessary to coordinate production to resolve issues efficiently.

Work to deadlines efficiently and carry out tasks in a timely manner, following instructions from your manager and using your initiative when appropriate.

Despatch coordinator

Working alongside the production manager, ensuring that all collections/deliveries are scheduled to meet customer deadlines and any specific requirements after production. You will be solely responsible for managing the Despatch@ inbox, checking it at regular intervals so that any tasks generated can be dealt with in an efficient manner. You will also work closely with the purchasing assistant and will be the link between production and purchasing.

Required skills and competencies.

  • Good all-round knowledge and experience of large format print and signage
  • Great at dealing with customers to advise on production schedules, lead times and goods in/out information.
  • A good understanding of Job sheeting and works orders.
  • Excellent time management, planning & organisational skills along with good communication skills.
  • To provide day to day support to the production manager.
  • Work with the department manager to maintain and uphold quality standards and operating procedures.
  • Flexible and adaptable in approach, able to provide hands-on support.
  • Confident, enthusiastic – can-do attitude, a team player.
  • Well established analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • PC literate with a good working knowledge of standard Microsoft applications and appropriate industry software
  • Able to build and sustain solid working relationships within the business and work with own and other departments to achieve common goals.
  • Enthusiastic approach to new technologies
  • Able to follow process/procedures/works instructions in place throughout the department.

DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

What you'll be doing:

  • You will be a content champion – delivering a range of writing from blogs, email campaigns, social media, and copy-writing
  • You will be responsible for delivering effective digital marketing campaigns on time, ensuring that your work is driving improvement in the company’s marketing results
  • In this role you will be working with a range of different departments, so you’ll need to be colleague and client-facing and confident in your approach to managing colleague/client relationships
  • Quickly become familiar with the business, our services and how we work
  • You’ll get involved with and help deliver various pieces of work related to an overall digital strategy, such as technical audits, keyword research, on-page optimisation, Google Ads account builds and social media campaigns (both paid and organic)
  • Promoting and curating content on social media
  • Creating and reviewing email marketing campaigns
  • Use analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns/content and identify areas for improvement
  • Overseeing Trustpilot reviews
  • Contacting customers after sales, to feedback customer satisfaction and to help generate repeat business
  • From time to time you’ll need to be able to find new business opportunities and be comfortable taking an active role in selling and promoting our products
  • Managing content, carrying out competitor research, editing and updating e-commerce products through our in-house content management system on our website
  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) knowledge to support the overall strategy

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Outstanding communication, Spelling and Grammar
  • A love for the online marketing world from social media to e-commerce sales
  • A keen eye for detail and understanding of layout styles across a range of media
  • You’ll be comfortable using platforms such as Google Analytics to review performance and drive strategy
  • You’ll keep up to date with industry changes and actively read blogs to further your digital marketing knowledge
  • Be comfortable talking to clients, via telephone, email, and face to face
  • To be a self-starter and highly motivated, driven to take the role as far as you can·
  • Excellent attention to detail
