We are looking to recruit an experienced individual with knowledge and skills in all aspects of sign installation, sign manufacture & vehicle graphics, to join our busy team.

In this role, you will be required to work to a high standard and to exact deadlines across a varied client base. We therefore require a skilled Sign Maker who has experience in the production of all types of signs, vinyl application and graphics and is very confident with fitting.

A full driving license is essential, CSCS card is of benefit, but training available where appropriate.

What you’ll be doing:

We will expect you to be fully trained in sign production and your role covers a full range of skills and experience such as:

  • The ability to interpret briefs accurately and a strong understanding of signage and manufacturing techniques.
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to communicate effectively & contribute as part of a larger team.
  • Be proficient in the application of vinyl onto a variety of substrates including vehicles.
  • Using vinyl plotters, large format printers and laminators
  • Experience of signage fitting on site
  • Safe manual handling of materials
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety working practices.
  • Driving license essential
  • Experience in vehicle wrapping.
  • Installation of signs
  • Have a good knowledge of mechanical fixing

What we are looking for:

This is a physically demanding role that will from time to time require heavy lifting, therefore good physical health is required to carry out the role. You must also be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions to meet customer demands when required. The individual must also be comfortable working at height.

Successful applicants will be enthusiastic, able to work on their own initiative, flexible, a great team player, well organised and understand the importance of health and safety.

Work to deadlines efficiently and carry out tasks in a timely, productive, and efficient manner, following instructions from your manager and using your initiative when appropriate.

You will be required to use Production Machinery, Software, and IT resources. Managing your time using Outlook mail and calendar.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will be a content champion – delivering a range of writing from blogs, email campaigns, social media, and copy-writing
  • You will be responsible for delivering effective digital marketing campaigns on time, ensuring that your work is driving improvement in the company’s marketing results
  • In this role you will be working with a range of different departments, so you’ll need to be colleague and client facing and confident in your approach to managing colleague/client relationships
  • Quickly becoming familiar with the business, our services and how we work
  • You’ll get involved with and help deliver various pieces of work related to an overall digital strategy, such as technical audits, keyword research, on-page optimisation, Google Ads account builds and social media campaigns (both paid and organic)
  • Promoting and curating content on social media
  • Creating and reviewing email marketing campaigns
  • Use analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns/content and identify areas for improvement
  • Overseeing Trustpilot reviews
  • Contacting customers after sales, to feedback customer satisfaction and to help generate repeat business
  • From time to time you’ll need to be able to find new business opportunities, and be comfortable taking an active role in selling and promoting our products
  • Managing content, carrying out competitor research, editing and updating e-commerce products through our in-house content management system on our website
  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) knowledge to support the overall strategy

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Outstanding communication, Spelling and Grammar
  • A love for the online marketing world from social media to e-commerce sales
  • A keen eye for detail and understanding of layout styles across a range of media
  • You’ll be comfortable using platforms such as Google Analytics to review performance and drive strategy
  • You’ll keep up to date with industry changes and actively read blogs to further your digital marketing knowledge
  • Be comfortable talking to clients, via telephone, email, and face to face
  • To be a self-starter and highly motivated, driven to take the role as far as you can·
