Handheld Whiteboards
Our handheld whiteboards are made for classroom use. A4 and A3 sizes, dry-wipe surface on both sides, lightweight enough for a pupil to hold comfortably, and available plain, lined, gridded, or fully custom printed with your school's branding, subject templates or house colours. Prices start at £26.20 ex VAT for A4 laptop boards, with volume discounts from packs of 10 upwards, and 30-day accounts available to schools, academies and government bodies.

What you need to know about our handheld whiteboards
Plain, lined, gridded or fully custom
Choose a plain dry-wipe surface for open tasks, a lined version for handwriting and literacy, a gridded version for maths and coordinates, or a fully custom print with your own layout, branding or subject template.
Double-sided surface as standard
Every handheld board in this range has a usable dry-wipe surface on both sides, so you can print one layout on the front and a different layout on the reverse.
Class packs and volume discounts
Order as a single board for a tutor session, a pack of 6 for a small group, a pack of 30 for a whole class, or a whole-school quantity. Volume discounts apply from low quantities upwards.
UK manufactured on dry-wipe board
Printed and cut in the UK on a proper dry-wipe surface, not a thin laminated paper finish. Boards wipe cleanly with a standard whiteboard eraser or a damp cloth and hold up to daily classroom use.
Safe edges, light weight
Handheld boards need to be safe for children to handle. Our frameless versions have machined edges with no sharp corners. The coloured-frame Write On option wraps the edge in a chunky plastic frame for younger children who need extra protection and grip.
30-day accounts for schools and councils
We offer 30-day credit terms to UK schools, academies, NHS trusts and government bodies against a purchase order, which makes procurement straightforward. Quotes and pro-forma invoices available on request.

About our Handheld Whiteboards
What's the difference between a handheld, a laptop and a mini whiteboard?
They're the same product. "Handheld" is the descriptive term, "laptop whiteboard" is a common alternative used by teachers and retailers, "mini whiteboard" is the most common search term in education, and "show me board" is a generic term derived from the Show-me brand. We list the product as "handheld" for clarity but it covers all of these categories.
What sizes do you offer, and which is right for a classroom?
We offer A4 as our primary classroom size, A3 for group work and higher visibility, and custom sizes on request. A4 is the right default for individual pupil use because it's the right size for a desk or lap, matches paper-based worksheets, and is easy to store in a classroom tray. A3 works well for paired or small-group work, or at the front of the class for teacher demonstration.
Can I order with pre-printed layouts like lines, grids or phonics?
Yes. Our A4 Printed Handheld Whiteboards can be produced with any layout, including handwriting lines, maths grids, coordinate grids, music staves, phonics templates, number lines, shape templates and subject-specific formats. Contact us with a sketch or example and our in-house design team will set it up and send you a digital proof before printing.
Do you offer 30-day accounts for schools?
Yes. We offer 30-day credit accounts to UK schools, academies, NHS trusts and government bodies against a valid purchase order. This is a straightforward setup and doesn't require an upfront payment.
Can we add our school's logo, house colours or branding?
Yes. Custom branded handheld whiteboards are one of the most popular products in this range for schools with a coherent visual identity across classrooms. We can add a logo, house colours, school motto or any other branding. Minimum order quantities apply and are worth checking by phone if you're ordering for a single class versus whole-school rollout.
Are the boards safe for young children to handle?
Yes. Our frameless handheld boards have machined edges with no sharp corners. For reception, key stage 1 and SEN settings where a chunkier edge is preferable, the Write On Coloured Frame Mini A4 Whiteboards have a thick plastic frame that's easier to grip and adds additional edge protection. Boards are lightweight across the range, so pupil handling is straightforward.
What pens should we use, and will cheap markers damage the surface?
Standard dry-wipe markers work on all our handheld boards. Our A4 and A3 surfaces have been tested against cheaper markers and hold up well, though we do recommend a consistent pen supply to avoid pupils using whatever's in a pencil case. We supply compatible drywipe pens if you'd prefer to order boards and pens together as a class kit.
How long does delivery take, and can you do class packs for the start of term?
Standard production and delivery is around 10 working days from artwork approval for printed and custom boards. Plain or stock-layout boards ship faster. For start-of-term orders, we'd recommend confirming your order by the second week of August at the latest for September delivery. Urgent orders can often be prioritised; call us to discuss.
