THE CLIENT

West Country Catch

Seafood supplier West Country Catch was formed in 2013 by Tim & Lou Edwards, with the business originally based in a small unit in Dorchester. As their business grew they needed larger premises, so in 2017 they moved into a spacious unit in Link Park, Weymouth.

They buy local fish from Weymouth, Portland & West Bay etc. They also have buyers in Brixham & Newlyn who will buy fish as instructed by the team. This allows West Country Catch to source the best quality fish from across Dorset, Devon & Cornwall.

With the new unit in full swing, the team held an Open Day in early August so it was our pleasure to work with them before this date to make sure the shop was fully kitted out and branded to perfection.

THE BRIEF

Complete Business Branded Signage

The team at West Country Catch got in touch to install some signage at their unit in Weymouth, ready to make it a fully fledged store ahead of their open day on the 5th August. We had previously worked with the team on some of their Ford Box Vans, getting them fully branded with their colour scheme and logo graphics.

The team needed a highly visible sign created for the front of the unit, in-keeping with their neighbours for a smart appearance, window graphics to welcome visitors and customers to the store as well as pavement signs to get their branding on eye-level with foot traffic in the area.

LONG-LASTING EXTERNAL SIGNAGE

Aluminium Folded Tray Signs

Aluminium Folded Tray Signs are crafted using hardwearing aluminium that is made to last. The folded edges hide the fixings and mounting system for a professional and modern 3D finish. The properties of aluminium mean that these signs are created with longevity in mind. The metal trays - the part that gets mounted to the wall, have a lifespan of 25 years + outdoors, and they can be reskinned indefinitely to keep up with your business branding - which is much more likely to change before the sign needs replacing! They’re also waterproof and rust-resistant especially when powder-coated.

For West Country Catch, the tray sign was powder coated white all over, with a printed vinyl showing their logo and name applied to the face. Our external signage prints are made to last, and are weather resitant, UV-protected and laminated with 7-year guaranteed finish. Our tray signs come complete with full length aluminium wall mounting rails created specifically for your tray sign. Installation services like here can be provided and quoted for if required!

Bespoke Window Graphics

These can be digitally printed in full-colour for vibrant installations, or single-colour cut-vinyl creations. There is almost no limit to the uses of printed window film. You can also have multiple colours and types of window vinyl layered to create stunning effects. For Slays, Chris opted for an opaque single colour cut vinyl creation, applied to the inside of the glass. Our window graphics vinyl has a strong adhesive that will leave minimal residue when removed. It is UV-resistant to fade and laminated for extra protection, it is also heat-resistant, meaning as the glass heats and cools throughout the day and year, the vinyl can adapt to these changes making it incredibly long lasting.

Swinger Pavement Signs

Swinger signs are designed to be stable in all outdoor weather conditions, and feature a 'swinging' panel that reduces wind resistance. With a sturdy, environmentally friendly base that can often be filled with water, sand or cement, swing signs look great outside shops and businesses. This model is the Swinger 2 Panel Pavement Sign; we also offer a Swinger 2 Poster Panel Pavement Sign for fast changing advertisment potential!

The swinging panel is printed with your business details and logo on both sides, and are changeable meaning you can switch promotions easily by purchasing new panels.
