Cavanna Homes began operating as a family-run construction company way back in the early-1920s. Now, with nearly a century of experience in the sector, the business has developed into the south west's largest independent house building firm.

Despite its tremendous growth over the decades, its core principles have remained the same: to build stunning, premium-quality properties that customers can proudly call their own.

THE BRIEF

Cavanna Homes, a long-term client of Creative Solutions, contacted us about providing some high-quality signage for their Wolborough Hill site in Newton Abbot.

These signs would act not only as wayfinders for potential clients, guiding them directly to the site—but also as a fundamental advertising tool for both the development plot and the Cavanna Homes company itself.

Because Cavanna Homes pride themselves on constructing homes to the highest possible standard, it was vital that this level of quality was reflected in the branding and signage material that we supplied.

THE SOLUTION

The important qualities for these signs were their durability —as they would be located outside—and their clarity as visual communication devices for the public.

To address these two requirements, we supplied two V-board signs, printed in full-colour onto aluminium composite material (ACM) boards. Not only does this product offer a robust outdoor signage option, we are able to print directly, in super high-definition, onto the substrate. Meaning that the branding and information is clear, precise and readable.

Creative Solutions provided the artwork for the wayfinder signs, following Cavanna’s exact brand specifications—we also mounted the boards onto carefully positioned posts. As with every other design project involving Cavanna Homes, they were extremely impressed with the quality of work carried out.
