Hoarding Panels for Cavanna Construction Site

Cavanna Homes started life as a family-run construction company back in 1923. After almost a century in the business, it's evolved into the south west's largest independent house building firm. Yet its goal remains the same, to build elegant, high-quality properties that families will be proud to call their home.

The team at Cavanna Homes pride themselves on building homes to a high standard, so it's important for them to convey this level of quality in all their branding material.

We were asked to produce building site signage to sit at the entrance of Cavanna Homes' latest development, Broadleigh Park in Tavistock. The client needed us to produce, and install two sections of wooden hoarding panels which would be visible from either side of the road so that passing drivers could easily spot the site.

It was important for the hoarding to reflect Cavanna Homes' reputation as a high-quality house builder, but equally, it needed to be robust enough to last the duration of the lengthy construction project.

First, we created the wooden hoarding structure at the site entrance using posts, cross rails and 18mm ply.

Our next step was to create the hoarding panels to sit atop these. We carefully produced digital prints on 3mm ACM with a matt laminate finish. The design featured the Cavanna Homes' recognisable branding, including the company's signature Pantone colour.

We then fixed the 3mm ACM panels to the pre-constructed hoarding and, once installed, we added the wording to the panels using cut vinyl text.

The entire project was completed within two days and we believe that the hoarding boards do a fantastic job marking out the entrance of the Cavanna site while at the same time blending in seamlessly with the aesthetic of the adjacent marketing suite.
