Vehicle Graphics for Cains Farm

THE CLIENT

Cains Farm Wholesale Fruit & Vegetable company, based in Chideock, has been in operation for over thirty years. Over the decades, they have been able to establish strong ties with numerous retailers, pubs, restaurants and market traders in the West Dorset and East Devon area.

Found at the centre of the West Dorset village, Cains Farm are proud to have been providing jobs for local people since they first began trading. The quality of the produce and reliability of service has resulted in Cains Farm having a first-class reputation in the region.

As well as the fruit and vegetable company, the farm is also home to Cains Farm Transport Services—established in 1993. This division of the business offers local manufacturing firms a reliable and efficient transport service for anywhere in the UK.

THE BRIEF

Cains Farm were looking to give one of their long haulage delivery lorries a makeover. They wanted to freshen up the look of the lorry’s cabin, while maximising its advertising potential with some high-quality cut vinyl vehicle graphics. They dropped a call in at Creative Solutions to see if we could be of service.

Cains Farm wanted cut vehicle graphics that would attract new customers, enhance brand identity, and promote the business in the local area.

THE SOLUTION

A series of decals would be applied to the original deep black substrate of the cabin. To give the client some flexibility of choice, we offered them three different designs and colours schemes to look over.

In the end, it was decided the most visually impactful combination was a vibrant yellow and red, incorporated into a custom ‘swoosh’ design for the side of the cab. The colour scheme would be used for the company logo, the contact information and the ‘swoosh’ design itself. After designing and manufacturing the cut vinyl graphics, the decals were then installed to the DAF CF lorry and finished with a high-quality laminate.

Although it’s an eye-catching image of the Jurassic Coast, Creative Solutions can’t take any credit for the print found at the back of the cab!

Cain Farms were thrilled with the finished product. The delivery vehicle can now make its many appointments across the country feeling like a new lorry.
