Xylem is a pioneering water technology company focused on addressing the world’s water, wastewater and energy needs through innovative and intelligent technology solutions.

From the collection and distribution of water, to its reuse and return to nature, Xylem’s highly-efficient technological water solutions use less energy, reduce the cost of life-cycles, and promote sustainability.

We have worked with Xylem over the years installing large and small displays and signage to their site here in Axminster, so working now on their offices to install some large wall graphics was a pleasure! In 2021 we installed their large cut-vinyl logo graphics to a metal face in their Service Area.

THE BRIEF

Branded Office Mural & Water Lifecycle Infographic

Xylem got in contact to brighten and add some large printed wall displays in their offices. Functional wall graphics like these are perfect in meeting rooms and offices, as well as mission statements and brand messaging as it distills complex concepts and large business structures into wall graphics that are more a work of art. All perfectly aligned for workers eye-level, and capture visitors attentions as they pass through a space that is branded, considered and inviting.

Xylem had 4 walls in total that they wanted pieces installed on, the first being the 'Wave Wall' (Above, Far Left). A boxed in space around the cable trucking, this inviting graphic beckons you into the space and compliments the doorway next to it

The large-scale infographic (Above, Middle) captures the processes Xylem work through to each of their end-consumers. This lifecycle and process allows employs the visualise themselves in the internal workings of the business and adds value to their contributions. As said earlier, infographics like these breakdown difficult and lengthy processes and information, and displays it in a easily consumable, artwork style display that anyone can understand.

The last wall mural display encompasses Xylems mission statement and core values. Branched out like DNA. Xylem have a steadfast set of values that are the root of all their decisions and future progression.

When we create large-scale pieces like these, we also take into consideration any fitted structures that may impact the design, cable trucking, light switches, fuse boxes, lips, edges and skirting boards. The design is then created around these elements so you do not lose any vital parts of your display!

We printed each wall piece onto Hi Tac Full Colour Print & Matt Laminated Vinyl. This high tack adhesive of this vinyl has been developed to be applied to ‘difficult to stick to’ surfaces, smooth low energy plastics such as PE and PP, and for interior wall decor applications (for use on smooth, sealed interior walls). The product gives the additional assurance of the high bond adhesive and vibrant colour reproduction. It has a Class B Fire Rating and for this project ws finished in a matt overlaminate to appear like wallpaper.

Man City Partnership Display

Printed onto the same media, high performance high-tack vinyl in a matt finish, this display installation honours Xylems partnership with Manchester City, Manchester City Women, and New York City FC.

As a global partner, this important partnership helps raise aware of Xylems mission to solve water, and also the joint commitment with Man City FC to make a difference in the world. This large partnership badge is now proudly displayed in the Xylem offices.
