Structural Integrity and Materials

The integrity of this notice board is reinforced by a 4 mm Plexichoc® glazing, which provides exceptional resistance to impacts and weather conditions. The side opening system, which is reversible, allows ease of access, while the double side opening with dual door options provide further flexibility. Security considerations are of utmost importance, and thus, the board is equipped with a tamper-proof safety lock, supplied with two keys.

Ensuring longevity and resistance to external elements, the notice board features an elastomer seal for waterproofing. The interior is finished with a galvanised steel sheet, lacquered in white on the interior back panel and light grey on the exterior back panel. The frame is made of silver anodised aluminium, although it can also be painted in a range of colours as per our notice board colour range.

Versatile Installation Options

The Tradition Outdoor Notice Board offers versatile installation options. It can be mounted on a wall or on posts. The accompanying post kit includes two 60 x 40 mm aluminium posts, available either in silver anodised finish or painted, and four brushed stainless steel attachment brackets. These posts can be directly concreted into the ground or installed using base plates.

For larger display areas, an additional post of the same dimensions is provided, equipped with two central attachment brackets to connect multiple display cases. This additional post must be concreted directly into the ground to ensure stability.

Additional Features

Included with the purchase, Procity® magnets (one per A4) facilitate secure document display. For enhanced visibility, an optional LED lighting kit is available. This kit features highly efficient white light with a typical brightness of 120 lumens per watt and a lifespan of approximately 75,000 hours. Note that the LED ribbons and transformer are not factory-fitted and should be installed by a qualified electrician to comply with safety regulations.

Installation of the notice board requires simple tools, as bolts or screws are not included but the necessary mounting holes are pre-drilled. The board can be affixed using bolts provided with the post kit for post installation or appropriate screws for wall mounting.

Post Kit (Included):  Two 60x40mm aluminum posts either silver anodised or painted to match your chosen colour selection, supplied with four brushed stainless steel attachment brackets. Your posts can either be sunken (root mounted) - concrete fixed below ground level, or with base plates (surface mounted) to be bolted into concrete slabs at ground level. (Concrete mix not included).

Optional Lighting Kit: PLEASE NOTE Lighting Unit will not be supplied attached to the board. To install the kit, the customer is obliged to drill into the notice board to pass the wires, however,  do not do so on top of the notice board. Once the wires are passed, use silicone both inside and out of the hole to make a waterproof seal. Do not put the transformer inside the case, due to heat this may cause condensation. • Caution: electrical connections must be made by a professional and comply with all applicable regulations.

Wiring recommendations (maximum distance per linear metre of LED strip):

• 5 m with 2 x 0.75 mm cable
• 10 m with 2 x 1.5 mm cable
• 15 m with 2 x 2.5 mm cable

Note: our kits consist of one or more LED strips, depending on the size of the notice board, and a transformer.

• Resistance of recycled plastic - 5-Year Warranty (excluding deformation and discolouration)
• High-density polyethylene - 5-Year Warranty (excluding discolouration)
• Quality of paints/stains on wood components and their resistance to UV - 1-Year Warranty (untreated wood components are not guaranteed)

Outside the areas specified above, the contractual guarantee is limited to one year.

Product Lead Time – Please be advised the lead time detailed above is the current working standard for this product. Your despatch and delivery dates will be detailed in your order confirmation sent via email from our Sales Team once your order has been received. For any product requiring artwork completion, the lead time starts from the next business day after you have approved and signed off your digital artwork proof. If we cannot fulfil your order within the detailed lead time, you will be contacted immediately about your order.
