Vinyl Graphics for Cornwall Aviation Services

THE CLIENT

Cornwall Aviation Services (CAS)  are a well-established independent aircraft facility here in the South West. Based in Bodmin, the Team at CAS is able to look after all your aircraft records, maintenance, and deliver any GA engineering services you require.

They have two sites, the CAS Bodmin, and CAS Dunkeswell - a popular destination for the GA (General Aviation) Community for its Aviation Cafe, and 7-day parachute jumping!

Our Installations Team headed down to CAS Dunkeswell to put up these massive vinyls, and do a bit of plane-spotting.

THE BRIEF

The Cornwall Aviation Team got in touch to place an order for some new graphics to be displayed on the side of one of their units. Work also included the installation of a newly branded aluminium composite sign to be mounted in replacement of an older logo.

All the design work was supplied to us, so we could get right to work for them plotting and printing the vinyl applications and signage.

For any large graphics installation if required, will will supply a detailed render of the artwork in situ so you can see the final finish before installation has even begun.

Once our client was content with the sizing, the date was set and the Creative Solutions Team headed to Cornwall!

THE SOLUTION

There was a large side-wall of one of Cornwall Aviation Services hangers exposed, and the perfect placement for a large graphic installation to make use of the blank canvas. A logo design was supplied in the bold red and black CAS colourings, and mounted onto the left-hand side of the exposed face. As no strangers to large metal container faces, the Installations Team navigated the design with ease, making sure everything was level and visually pleasing.

The-right hand side was dedicated to the text installation, allowing those at ground level (and in the sky!) to read the advertisement with ease from any distance. Space was left underneath this to allow for further information to be added when needed, futureproofing the design for years to come.
