Well-known West Country based builders merchants, Bradfords, have been in the trade since 1770 proudly serving communities across the South West for over 250 years.
Since day one they have been a family-owned business, expanding to almost 50 branches across the South West of England. Trusted by trades and loved by locals, Bradfords has become a hugely recognisable name in the sector. "Whether it’s tiling in Tintagel, groundwork in Glastonbury or a DIY dilemma in Dawlish" (Bradfords, About Us), they've got everything you need under one roof.
We have had the pleasure of working with Bradfords over the years on vehicle graphics projects, including their Volkswagen Amarok pickup truck branded for their partnership with the Exeter Chiefs in 2022 and their return to work temporary vehicle magnetic sheet branding after the Covid Pandemic.
THE BRIEF
Van Branding The New Ford E-Transit
Recognisable and easily remembered, the Bradfords branding is highly effective and adaptable to the multitude of vehicles, plant machinery and other assets within the business.
Having a unified brand appearance across your vehicles is an incredibly effective marketing tool to increase brand awareness and build trust with customers as you become a familiar name. Harnessing the power of this, Bradfords has a dedicated department responsible for the creation of brand guidelines, with specific layouts for each vehicle type in their fleet.
We received all their documentation detailing their colours, font sizing and artwork layout, ready to transform their new electric van. The only inclusion needed was to highlight Bradfords' bid to be greener in their Sustainability Mission with the blue ELECTRIC addition under their logo.

Our in-house Graphic Designers took Bradfords supplied artwork documents and brand guidelines and turned them into a digital artwork proofing sheet as you can see here (see right).

Step 2 | Full Colour Change Printed Vinyl Vehicle Wrap
As Bradfords had a specific brand colour requirement, we needed to print almost 25 meters of vehicle vinyl to their exact Pantone to turn their all-white Ford E-Transit yellow. When completing vehicle wraps, we use high-performance specialist vehicle vinyls and films that come in either stock colours or are printable to your brand requirements.
You can work with our in-house design team to create a stunning professional design to your exact specification in printed vinyl or layer-up as Bradfords have done here with overlayed cut vinyl graphics on top of their colour change wrap.

Step 3 | Van Signwriting With Cut Vinyl Graphics
Our vehicle graphics are created from high-performance vinyl that has an incredible life expectancy when facing all the elements have to throw at it.
Our vehicle graphics come with a minimum 5-7 year life expectancy, and if well maintained can last much longer. We also have complimentary vinyl laminate finishes in gloss, matt or specialist finishes so you can completely tailor your van branding from colour, to cut, coverage and finish.
We used black gloss vinyl for the main logo and lettering, gloss tomato red for the house icons, and gloss teal for the 'electric' text to match the coloured strips on the van's grill.
