Updated Branding and External Signage for Axminster Tools in Cardiff

THE CLIENT

Longstanding client Axminster Tools operates in almost all counties in the UK! Leading providers of carpentry, building, and machinery supplies, it was a pleasure to assist them in installing a new flex face sign at their Cardiff branch.

Axminster Tools are well versed in our range of external signage and internal display products, from large illuminated signage at their Nuneaton location, to etched glass meeting room installs right here in Axminster.

THE BRIEF

Wanting to create a fresh and inviting store front should be on all retailers priority lists to make sure the first impression is set to be welcoming, memorable and tailored to each location if you are a chain.

The Cardiff location envisioned just that for their new entryway banner signage display, and wanted to capture the Axminster Tools colours in a clean and modern way, but updating the banner fitted to the front of the tray sign.

The aluminium tray sign fitted to the front of the store is fitted with an LED curtain behind, allowing full illumination of the front facing sign. We offer standard aluminium tray signs, or illuminated options for 24/7/365 visibility.

THE SOLUTION

The PVC Banner is printed to the correct dimensions, allowing a large bleed area to allow for fixing, taping and cutting to create a perfect finish. Tacked in place, the banner is stretched and tucked into the tray sign, allowing for a taught skin. The PVC is printed in such a way to allow for full illumination from the concealed lighting with the tray sign.

Now welcoming Cardiff visitors in both English and Welsh, it was a pleasure to go on a road trip, and help the Axminster Tools Team with another project, the next is already on our books!
