Established in the 1920's, Irish and Denman is an independent family funeral directors, based in South Petherton and serving the surrounding area.

The office is overseen by funeral director Nigel Irish who has worked within the family business for over 40 years and is supported by his friendly team member, Jude.

With years of funeral directing experience and local knowledge, Nigel and his caring staff help guide and assist through the whole process of making funeral arrangements. They will provide you with all the advice necessary to create a lasting and personal tribute to your loved one, through what can be an overwhelming time.

Recently partnering with well-known funeral directors A.J. Wakely & Sons, Irish & Denman is now adopting the traditional dark blue and gold branding, so contacted us to produce the new signage for their office.

THE BRIEF

Traditional Trusted Welcome Signage

With all external signage on listed buildings, planning permissions to update and change signage need to be submitted, but the smaller details can always be submitted later once your designs are finalised. For Irish & Denman, size and location the signage would need to take were dictated by the permit, but colour could not be decided until physical proofs could be shown to decided between several shades of blue to match the branding guidelines.

Our team are happy to conduct site visits with you and bring samples of materials and colour spec sheets to help narrow down material and finished overall look. Simply contact us for a site visit and we will organise a date and time with you.

For the two external plaque signs, it was chosen to use a traditional and long-lasting material that would fit with the building, but also the business ethics of permanence, strength and longevity.

THE SOLUTION

ACM Panel Signage For Projecting & Mounted Displays

ncluded some wall-mounted aluminium panel signage for their on-site facilities branded in the same sapphire blue with white gloss text.

Our aluminium panel signage is 2.5mm thick as standard and can be cut from large sheets to any size or shape required with our state-of-the-art water-jet cutter. Once prepped, your panel is drilled to create as many fixing points as required.

For that well-known long-lasting finish, we will then powder coat all panels in any RAL colour of your choosing. Your signage design, text, logo or other graphics are then printed and cut, then expertly mounted onto the prepared panel ready for installation. Vinyl applications are guaranteed for up to 7 years outdoors, and the aluminium signage is known to last 25+ years.
