Bespoke Wooden Hanging Sign and ACM Tray Sign for Symondsbury Estate

THE BRIEF

Symondsbury Estate commissioned Creative Solutions to manufacture bespoke signage for ther site in Dorset. The client provided detailed artwork with the signage requirements they were looking for, as well as providing the materials for the wooden signs.

THE SOLUTION

The work consisted of a wooden sign with a routed infill logo and an aluminium composite tray sign. For the wooden sign (as seen in the image above), the client supplied the materials to be used. Our design team created a routing file to be used, creating an exact match to the clients design. We then painted the inside of the letters to ensure they stood out, sanded the face back and then covered in 3 coats of clear satin lacquer for outdoor use to really show the wood off.

For the ACM tray sign, we wrapped the material in a slate effect print that had been specifically created for the client. Our designers manipulated a slate image to ensure it would conform to the ACM dimensions and create a realistic print effect. The full colour print was wrapped around the edges of the tray sign to create a seamless full slate block appearance. It was then mounted on an aluminium angle with the screws covered by screw caps to hide the fixings.

The signage was installed on site by the Symondsbury Estate team with guidance from Creative Solutions.
