Crickmay Stark Architects

Residing in the beautiful market town of Dorchester in Dorset, Crickmay Stark Architects have been on the scene since the late 1800's. In 1999 the firm amalgamated two of the oldest Architectural Practices in the area to become the firm they are today, also rebranding to move forward with a new identity, whilst retaining their heritage of nearly 200 years.

Directors Roger Hussey, Daniel Cantrell and Anthony Williams lead a highly professional and friendly team who guide their clients through every stage of the construction process.

THE BRIEF

Etched Window Graphics

For any business owner with the available window space, window graphics are the perfect opportunity to use valuable branding real estate for added awareness, brand exposure and familiarity.

At Creative we are able to produce window graphics as bespoke as each of our clients. We host a full range of window films to cover all finishes and levels of opacity to suit your design brief, branding and length of time it is needed for for both internal and external application.

Crickmay Stark Architects were looking for a professional and on-brand permanent window graphic of their logo for a low office window facing the street. The graphic could not be opaque and needed to still let in the natural daylight to the office whilst remaining smart for the interior. To keep on brand the team wanted to include the rand colours in the lettering and the vertical stripe.

Our Graphic Designers set to work creating the logo to suit the window size with the addition of contact details and website clearly visible at the bottom (see right). All our projects are signed off with a digital artwork proof sent to our clients to be able to see the final product before production commences.

THE SOLUTION

Bespoke Window Graphics

After discussing the different opacity levels on offer and seeing samples, the team chose a silver etched film for the main block background that would offer a simple haze to the glass without impinging on light into the office. Cut and weeded to match the artwork proof, the text would then be infilled with a opaque Nimbus Grey vinyl, and finished with a Ruby vinyl for the vertical stripe, all applied to the inside of the glass facing out.

Our window vinyls and films can be supplied with the adhesive on the front or back for internal or external application to suit your needs and can also be cut from single colour sheets like here, or custom printed in full-colour for vibrant displays and branding. There is almost no limit to the uses of printed window film. You can also have multiple colours and types of window vinyl layered to create stunning effects as you can see here for Crickmay Stark Architects.

Our window graphics vinyl has a strong adhesive that will leave minimal residue when removed. It is UV-resistant to fade and laminated for extra protection, it is also heat-resistant, meaning as the glass heats and cools throughout the day and year, the vinyl can adapt to these changes making it incredibly long lasting.
