Pavement Signs for Arsenal Women Football Club

Arsenal W.F.C. are the most successful football club in women’s football, with 49 honours, including 12 Premier League titles. The club was founded as an amateur side in 1987 as Arsenal Ladies F.C. and became semi-professional in 2002. Their ground is at Meadow Park in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. They share the same nickname as Arsenal F.C “The Gunners” and have close ties to the men’s team.

We’ve worked with a few sporting clubs before, but Arsenal W.F.C. is certainly one of the most exciting of the bunch.

Produce A-Board branding - signage and print

We were contacted by Arsenal W.F.C. who wanted to create some new signs that would spread the club message. We were asked to produce a new pavement sign in the club colours. We met with the club to discuss colours (white and red, obviously) and the message for the sign. It was established the message might change over time, so we recommended an APL A-Board Pavement Sign with 'D'-Shaped Header Panel.

APL A-board supply, printing and installation

The great thing about an APL A-Board Pavement Sign with 'D'-Shaped Header Panel is the poster can be easily removed and replaced. The sign itself is also weatherproof with hinged locking for stability. They come in a choice of 11 colours, including Black, White, Silver, Red, Burgundy, Yellow, Cream, Brown, Blue, Dark Blue and Dark Green.

We printed two A2 posters for Arsenal W.F.C. The posters were printed in full colour with a matte laminate. Logos were cut to shape and applied to both sides of the A-Board header to ensure the club message is seen from both sides of the walkway.

We built up the sign for Arsenal W.F.C. and delivered it onsite. They are delighted with the sign and we’re on standby to print more posters for them.
