The Knapp Inn is a traditional country pub, situated just away from the middle of Beaminster. Family and dog friendly, wheelchair accessible, this local pub is known to be friendly, welcoming and offers a great mix of food and drinks to suit everyone.

THE BRIEF

Suspended Hanging Signage

Our client got in touch through their Greene King Rep to commission a refresh of the entrance signage as the old sign was incredibly worn out and faded from years of service.

As the strength of the original fittings were in question, it was decided the whole lot needed to be stripped, and a replacement hanging / suspended signage panel was decided upon to take its place. This included a new hanging bracket, powder coated aluminium frame and custom double-sided full-colour printed aluminium panel to be fitted.

This particular pub hanging sign is constructed from Pub Style Ogee Panel Frames, custom sized and powder coated for incredibly long-lasting external protection from the elements in bright Traffic White. Each frame is riveted to the other once the display panels have been mounted in the centre.

Each Aluminium panel is cut to size to perfectly fit within the frames, with the display printed onto a high-tack self-adhesive vinyl which is then applied to the aluminium panel on both sides. Each print is finished with a protective laminate that protects the print from UV-damage, fading, weather and general wear and tear whilst living outdoors. Aluminium is an incredibly hard-wearing signage media, and is known when looked after to last 25-years or more in external placements. The vinyl prints have a 7-year life expectancy, meaning they are an incredibly cost-effective signage option for long-lasting displays.
