Vehicle Livery for Tukxi, Axminster

Tukxi are Piaggio Ape conversion experts in the United Kingdom. They specialise in Piaggio Ape fit-outs for other businesses. Made to order by skilled artisans, Tukxi’s Piaggio Ape conversions are very popular with street food vendors. Their conversions are a fitting tribute to the original Vespa scooter produced from 1948.

Design and print vinyl graphics for a Prosecco van conversion

Tukxi’s working fleet of Tuk Tuks are used to deliver a wide range of food and drink products. We had previously worked with them to print the graphics for three vehicles, so we were delighted to get the call about another one.

The latest project was for a Prosecco van for a client called Tiny Bubbles. It would be used to sell Prosecco on the move. We were asked to assist with designing graphics for the van that would help it stand out. We were given a logo, layout and design work by the client.

Printing and installation at our site in Axminster

Once Tukxi were happy with the final design of the van graphics, printing began at our site in Axminster. The vinyl used for this project was gloss laminated with pantone matches, to ensure the colours would be spot on. We printed the vinyl in full-colour on our state-of-the-art digital printer and plotter. We cut the design out from the vinyl very carefully, a process that’s not always required but usually is with vehicles this small.

The Tuk Tuk was painted a few days before we completed printing the vinyl. A flawless exterior paint finish helps vinyl adhere properly. Once the paintwork was dry, we brought the Tuk Tuk into our workshop and installed the vinyl onsite. Installation took a few hours to complete. The vehicle graphics look great and the client is thrilled with the results.
