Design, print and install graphics on Ford Transit Custom L2 H2

JK Windows operate a small fleet of vehicles that are used to carry equipment and transport crew. We were contacted by them to design vehicle graphics for their new Ford Transit Custom in L2 H2 specification. We had worked with them previously to produce graphics for their old van which they were very happy with.

We were asked to match the graphics on the old van as best as possible, to ensure consistent branding. The graphics would need to be adapted and enlarged because the L2 H2 van was a bigger size than the original van.

We designed a new range of graphics for the van and supplied a visual to the client in the form of a template. This shows the van as a 2D drawing and lets you see how the van’s graphics will look once installed. JK Windows were happy with the proposed graphics. Once they were signed off, we got printing right away.

For the droplets, a full-colour wide-format print was chosen. It was printed onto premium self-adhesive gloss white vinyl with protective laminate. This waterproof vinyl is one of the best on the market for outdoor applications. The laminate used was Gloss MG705. The vinyl itself comes with a 7-year guarantee.

For the text, the same vinyl was used with the colours Grey M7 Nimbus Blue and M7 Olympic. We installed the vinyl graphics within a few days of printing. Installation took us a day. The results are fantastic, and the client is thrilled with the new appearance of their van.
