Cut Vinyl Vehicle Signwriting for Jaam Design

THE CLIENT

Jaam Design Limited is a design company based in Yeovil, Somerset. Under the guidance of their talented and hard-working director, Thomas Freke, who has a background in the play and leisure industry, Jaam tackle a wide range of design disciplines. From signage, personalised clothing and display products to parkour training facility and play area design.

As the demand has increased over the years, working alongside established play and leisure companies such as Husson UK, Mant Leisure, AMG Sport and Play, Jaam are now able to source a large variety of products and services, using a deep pool of suppliers. As a result, with various projects and design jobs under their belt, Jaam have created excellent working relationships with both retailers and suppliers.

As the business has steadily expanded, Thomas has been able to employ the services of a second experienced designer, Amanda. Between them, Jaam have established themselves as a well-trusted, high-quality modern design company, able to cater for a broad spectrum of creative needs.

The name, if you’re wondering, is a portmanteau of Thomas’ children: Jay and Amber = Jaam.

THE BRIEF

In a previous brief, we had been asked by Thomas to put forward a quote for some cut vinyl graphics for a vehicle. The client attached to this project was said to be delighted with the results of our work and had a similar design request in the pipeline. Two happy customers.

Meanwhile, on the back of this, another of Jaam’s clients had provided us with a PDF of some artwork which they’d like manufactured into a sticker to put on a car. Their current supplier was informed months ago about the project but, so far, had not responded to their request. We were only too happy to pick up the creative reins.

THE SOLUTION

We supplied the client with the vehicle graphics, in the form of two Silver Vinyl M7-190-61. They were kiss cut to shape, ready for the client to apply. We could have also installed the graphics in-house if the client required.

The bold, sharp monochrome SAAB logo was supplied in vector file format and the dimensions of the graphic (3700 x 150 mm) was cut perfectly to size, which looked immaculate when applied to the vehicle.

This was a prompt turnaround from concept to execution and, as always, we provided a courteous and professional service. The overall price on this brief included the vinyl plotter cutting, weeding and the application tape.
