Creative Design Studio: Wedding 'Save The Date' Cards

The Creative Design Studio were commissioned by a client in Dorset to design a 'storybook' styled wedding invite, to include a save the date card and the wedding invite itself.  With the open brief of a storybook theme, working from chapters and quotes from children's stories, the design team set about making the save the date cards something to remember...

Working with the white rabbit from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, head graphic designer Leigh opted for a hand drawn illustration with a Creative twist. Playing off the 'don't be late' quote for the save the date card design, he created several options from which the client could choose as a starting point.

Throughout the process the client and family were able to come in and work alongside Leigh to make any suggestions and tweaks, helping them get a design that they were completely happy with. The hand-drawn illustration really helped give the design a personal feel which was a key part of the brief.
