BRIGHTON AND HOVE BUSINESS SHOW 2011
Fantastic Opportunity For Start-Up Businesses
Fledgling companies and individuals based in the Brighton and Hove area will soon be able to get a foot in the door, as a much-respected local business show is offering start-ups free exhibition space.
The Brighton and Hove Business Show (BHBS) is supporting the government's newly launched Startup Britain campaign by offering twelve budding entrepreneurs or businesses the opportunity to gain valuable exposure and promote their ventures with free display stand space.
The next BHBS event, its sixth business-to-business event, will be held this month. The show brings together hundreds of local businesses, entrepreneurs and innovators and even celebrity visitors as part of a unique and valuable networking opportunity.
The organiser of the BHBS event, Michaela Walker, explained the kind of high-profile visitors including VIPs, MPs and celebrity business guests, exhibitors can expect to turn up at their exhibition display stands:
"More than half of the visitors to the show are directors, and three-quarters of the total visitors run their own companies." told Exhibition News.
As Brighton is an area with an excellent reputation for emerging creative and media ventures, the organisers have also arranged for the production team from the hit BBC show Dragon's Den to film at the April BHBS event. This will allow some entrepreneurs present on the day the chance to film a three-minute pitch and gain national exposure on television.
