Range Rover Sport Vinyl wrapping for a private customer

We were contacted by a motorist who had heard great things about our vehicle wrapping service for commercial clients. He liked what he saw and decided we were the best company to wrap his pride and joy, a Range Rover Sport 2017 model. We discussed at great length the different designs available and what he wanted.

It was quickly established he wanted something different. Something metallic. We recommended a new product on the market called Teckwrap. Teckwrap is a high-quality wrap with outstanding flexibility. It conforms to the shape of a vehicle perfectly and is guaranteed for at least two years.

Our client opted for a chrome finish. The product is called Mirror Chrome. It’s available in a wide range of colours, from white gold to rose pink.

THE SOLUTION

Expert installation with bumper removal

Teckwrap isn’t available in the United Kingdom so we imported it. It arrived a few days earlier than expected so we booked the Range Rover in for installation. The vehicle was delivered to us clean. We completed the cleaning process onsite, to ensure a contaminant-free surface for the vinyl wrap to adhere to.

Installation took us five days. There’s no rushing this process. The bumpers, wing mirrors, grilles and exterior trim had to be professionally removed so that the vinyl wrap could be applied to all individual elements. The wrap also has to be delicately moulded to the body using heat and careful application. This process takes time and skill.

Once we’d wrapped all the vehicle’s parts, they were installed back onto the vehicle by our production team. After a final clean to rid the chrome finish of our fingerprints, the work was complete, and the Range Rover was ready to be collected.

Our client is thrilled with the wrap and the new appearance of his Range Rover. It comes with a 2-year guarantee which is superior to most other chrome wraps.

Here is a close up video of the chrome wrap, which really highlights the incredible mirror effect of the vinyl. The finish is truly unique. The vinyl is completely removable should the client ever wish to change it, and actually protects the normal paintwork underneath.
