Christie's is the world's largest fine arts auction house known for selling some of the world's most valuable fine art. It is a name and place of extraordinary art, with unparalleled service and expertise, as well as international glamour.With their primary headquarters based in London and New York, Christie's enlisted Creative Solutions to print and manufacture new auctioneer paddle to be used at the auction houses.

After briefing Creative Solutions with their requirements, our in-house design team provided a range of shapes of auctioneer's paddles. After selecting their preferred option and size, visuals were sent across with the Christie's logo positioned at the foot of the board.

The auction paddles were to be written on as part of the auction process, therefore the best solution was a dry wipe surface to allow maximum flexibility and re-use. The drywipe surface was thoroughly tested to ensure there was no ghosting, and the quality and colour of the print surface remained as new after being cleaned.

Once the artwork proofs were confirmed by Christie's, the paddles were custom routed, before being direct UV printed on both sides. The end result was a simple, high quality bespoke auction paddle for Christie's. Their was no installation required and the paddle's were sent direct to the customer.
