Van Signwriting for Larx Garden Services

Owned and operated by Lyme Regis born and bred Howard Larcombe, Larx Garden Services is a garden maintenance company. They provide regular calls and one-off services, including hedges cut and tidied, lawns mown, de-mossed and aerated, flower bed upkeep and pruning and pressure washing for paths, patios and decking.

THE BRIEF

Produce vehicle graphics for the work van

We were contacted by Howard wanting his Renault KANGOO van branding up. His white KANGOO was a real workhorse but needed something that little bit extra to make the business stand out on the go.

We recommended a full colour printed vinyl with a sign written logo and graphics on the side panels. We discussed colours and logos. Howard already had a logo in vector format which we could use. The graphics would need designing in-house, so we quoted Howard for design, production and installation time in one.

THE SOLUTION

Expert design print and installation

We managed this project from start to finish, taking care of the design, proofs, setup, printing, plotting, weeding, and installation of graphics.

The design work was performed by our graphic designer. We created a few mock-ups and presented these to the client as 2D drawings, so he could see exactly how the graphics would look once installed. These were approved for printing.

Printing took place at our site in Axminster. For this application, we used MD5A premium self-adhesive gloss white vinyl with protective laminate. Printing was performed in full colour using 8-10 colour inks at 2880dpi, the highest photographic quality.

We booked the KANGOO in for installation the same week. Our experience team prepped the vehicle and installed the graphics in a few hours. We’re delighted with the workmanship, as is Howard. His van now looks the part and Larx Garden Services has a way to advertise its service and phone number on the move.
