Rebellion makes first appearance at MCM Expo 2011

The publishing house Rebellion has announced that it is to make its first ever appearance at the London MCM Expo this spring, bringing the games developer's much-loved characters Judge Dredd and Rogue Trooper along with it.

Rebellion's display stands will showcase all of the company's comic brands, as well as raffling off a piece of exclusive signed work by 2000D artist Leigh Gallagher.

The PR coordinator for Rebellion, Michael Molcher, explained to Exhibiting Magazine why the computer game and comic book creator will be setting up its display stands at MCM this year. He said:

"In the past, we've only attended purely comic book focused exhibitions,"

"But, as the MCM Expo attracts such a spread of visitors all interested in different media, the opportunity to contaminate new minds was appealing."

As Molcher points out, the London MCM Expo covers a wide range of genres and is one of the most popular fan conventions of its kind in the country. It focuses mainly on UK and Japanese sci-fi, anime, manga and video games, so Rebellion should feel right at home and be a big draw for the crowds.

The London MCM Expo will be held at the London Excel between 27th-29th May 2011.
