Lorry Wrapping for McVeigh Parker

McVeigh Parker specialise in fencing and farming supplies. They have seven depots nationwide and massive stocks for super-fast delivery, as well as eight branches. They are one of the nation’s leading suppliers to agriculture and industry. They are open to the trade and private customers.

THE BRIEF

Lorry wrapping

We were contacted by McVeigh Parker to wrap their lorry. We were asked to wrap the vehicle with a pantone colour match, in this case blue. We met with the client and supplied hard copy vinyl samples for them to review and mull over. With vehicle vinyl, one of the most important things is media durability. We recommended Avery Dennison 800 Premium Cast, a unique life-long vinyl with incredible durability.

THE SOLUTION

Colour matching, production and installation

This project was all about a perfect colour match and expert installation.

We produced Gloss White Vinyl Logos for the cab side and front as per proof, in addition to Avery Supreme Light Blue Gloss, which is a close colour match to Pantone 2925. The vinyl itself is a special vinyl that has to be bought in. We did this on behalf of the client, and once we had it in our workshop, we set it up for cutting, plot, weed and finishing.

Once everything was printed up, we booked the lorry in for installation at our site in Axminster. Our expert installation team installed the vinyl over a full day, taking care to ensure a perfect ‘stick’ to the surface underneath.

With this vinyl being as durable as it is, it’s relatively thick which means imperfections in paintwork are well covered. The lorry itself required little prep because it was delivered to us clean. We finished up with dust removal. McVeigh Parker is delighted with the results as are we - their lorry looks the part and the vinyl will last for years.
