International Jewellery London show signs up new catwalk sponsor

The organisers of International Jewellery London (IJL) have confirmed a new sponsor for this year's show, which is due to be held in September.

The new sponsor is Danish jewellery supplier Aagaard, which will take over sponsorship for one of the show's brand new features - the Runway. The catwalk runway feature will host two product showcases per day, and will be surrounded by pop-up displays and other display solutions featuring Aaagard branding. As further marketing collateral for Aagard's sponsorship package, there will also be announcements before every catwalk show and at least one model wearing Aagard products.

One of the directors of the International Jewellery London 2011 show, Sam Willoughby, commented on the new addition to the show, saying:

"The Runway will provide an opportunity to bring products to life for retailers and buyers alike,"

"The Boulevard area will provide the ideal setting to run catwalk shows to ensure that everyone has a close-up view of the jewellery".

Aasgard is also excited about its role in IJL 2011, as well as the catwalk feature it will be sponsoring. Sales direct Henrik Esborg said:

"The Runway is designed to inspire and excite visitors, as well as add a real buzz to the show floor. Sponsoring it is a natural fit for us,"
