Glee garden show organisers plan bigger and better features for 2011

The director of the Glee 2011 exhibition has revealed that there are a number of new features planned for this year's show.

Nick Davison, the organiser of the annual garden and leisure trade show, has said that a new Glee Planteria will be added to this year's exhibiting space. The Planteria will be situated within the Glee Nursery and will contain a number of Planteria display stands. These will allow exhibitors to display a range of different plant varieties in a much more cost-effective way.

Speaking of this sizeable new addition to Glee's exhibiting space, Mr Davison explained:

"We want to make exhibiting plants even easier and, ultimately, enable exhibitors to demonstrate the best way to display plants in a retail environment,"

"We also understand the cost of transporting an entire nursery's stock can be significant, which is why we wanted to develop something that reduces this cost significantly."

Other new features at the Glee 2011 show include an expanded seminar programme, the Garden Angels Showcase, the Glee Innovator Zone and the pet industry exhibition Petindex.

The Glee 2011 show takes place on 19th-21st September at the Birmingham NEC. Last year's event attracted a total of 654 exhibitors and 13,047 visitors.
