THE SOLUTION
Before production commenced, the studio team created the sign’s layout and design. The final proof was then approved by the client and we got right to work. The sign would feature a rudimentary two-tone gold and blue colour scheme and include the church’s simple logo. For a consistent visual aesthetic, the font used for each section of the sign would be a classic Times New Roman.
We supplied the client with a full-colour self-adhesive print which was applied to 3mm ACM 0.3mm skin board and finished with a matte laminate. As well as the visual qualities this finish offers, it also gives the sign its all-important waterproof properties. The gold cut vinyl was applied to the existing sign which really pops against the blue substrate.
After removing the bolts from the old sign, we were able to place the new display and reinstall it using new drill holes. We were also able to supply colour-coded screw caps which allow for a clean, tactful aesthetic. Finally we gave the entire sign a clean. Job done!
