Charmouth Challenge - The South West's Premier Fell Run

The Charmouth Challenge is a chip-timed 8-mile fell run with a 40-year history. It is a hilly multi-terrain course through some of the finest coastal scenery in the South West on Dorset’s beautiful Jurassic Coast, overlooking Charmouth’s famous fossil hunting beaches with views to historic Lyme Regis. It includes an ascent of Golden Cap, which is the highest point on the South Coast of England at 191 metres.

The Charmouth Challenge has been organised every year since 1983 and is the main fundraiser for our village Primary school. The event enjoys the valued support of the whole village and runners come from far and wide to participate.

We have provided the team with Arrow Signs made of correx for easy installation and bright print capabilities, custom printed promotional flags, and are supplied free-of-charge PVC event banner with the below artwork design.

Monday, 26th June 2023 update - Online registration is now closed but it is possible to register on the day. Registration opens at 7.30 am and closes at 9.45 am with the Fell run beginning at 10.00 am and the Fun Run at 10.15 am.
