Wedding Signage and Custom Printing for Reception Bar

THE CLIENT

A wedding planner got in touch with Creative Solutions to ask for high-quality, bespoke signage and custom printing to be created and fixed to the reception bar. The design would tie in with the overall wedding theme, and add the quality finishing touch to the reception area.

THE BRIEF

We were given a brief to produce signage panels to be fitted on to the horse shoe shaped bar front by the wedding planner with a bespoke design chosen by the bride and groom, so that the bar would fit in with the interior theme used for the inside of the marquee.

Manufacturing wedding signage and custom printing to fit is something we specialise in, so we were glad to take this job on and confident we could complete it speedily, skilfully and to the client’s satisfaction.

THERESULT

First our fitters measured the custom-designed bar. As the signage could not be printed in one continuous piece due to the horseshoe shape of the bar, we instead printed it in vinyl strips, so that we could cover any unsightly gaps using the strips as an overlay. We used full-colour wide-format panels printed on premium self-adhesive white vinyl with laminate gloss, which we then mounted on to white Forex board.

We then installed the bar two days before the wedding was due to be held, using Velcro fastenings so that the panels could be easily removed and replaced with a new design when next needed.

The result? One satisfied client and a fantastic looking bar front that looked suitably decked out for a wedding celebration.
