A bit about one of our clients: Palmers Pubs

Palmers Brewery have been producing finest ale since 1794, and more recently Creative Solutions have been producing some rather fine print and design for them. We’ve done a number of jobs with Palmers, most recently we worked on new menus for The Cobb Arms in Lyme Regis and a new children’s menu for The Anchor Inn in Seatown.

The children’s menu that we produced for The Anchor Inn includes an activity sheet with colouring in, a plethora of pirate puzzles, and a space to draw your own pirate. We’ve provided the design service and consultation as well as the printing service.

Good food the cornerstone of a good pub.The Cobb Arms are proud to source as much of their fish as they can from Lyme Bay, on a menu which includes fresh scallops, mussels and crab and their meat is sourced from local farms in Axminster. The head chef of The Anchor Inn, Samuel Hill, grew up in Dorset and is passionate about local produce.

Creative Solutions were delighted to be another part of the local supply chain in providing the menus that are essential for presenting this food to the public.

We’re partial to a pint of Palmers. Their award winning draught ales are still brewed using traditional methods at the Old Brewery at Bridport in West Dorset. The Old Brewery was original built on the banks of the River Brit in Bridport in 1794 by Dorset rope and net makers the Gundry family.

Both The Cobb Arms and The Anchor Inn also have 3 bedrooms for guests; so you can dine in style and stay to enjoy the delights that Seatown and Lyme Regis have to offer - so why not visit them, stay in beautiful surroundings in a stunning part of the world, and marvel over the lovely design job that we've done on the menus.
