ACM Signage & Pitch Side Sponsorship Boards for Axminster Town Football Club

Axminster Town Football Club began life in their new £2million home this August, and Creative Solutions were delighted to be a part of the move. In partnership with developers Devonshire Homes, the club have finally moved in to Tiger Way and kicked off the new season.

The facilities are incredible and a real advert for local football. They include a new first team pitch with supporter stands, a further full size pitch with a junior pitch, a new clubhouse with over 200 square feet of social space and a bar, a third generation all weather training pitch, changing accommodation with four dressing rooms and parking for 100 cars. Town Chairman Ray Self says, “For me personally it marks the end of a long old road from that blank sheet of paper to the finishes article. What we have now at Tiger Way is special, so very special and I am very keen to show everyone in the local community, and indeed the wider footballing community just how special it is!”

Creative Solutions were commissioned to help supplement the ground with signage and displays. The aim was to create a professional environment whilst promoting the Tigers brand.

The first area of focus was creating an eye-catching main sign at the entrance to Tiger Way. We were tasked with producing a sign that was highly visible, contemporary and easy to read for passing road traffic. And of course, we made sure we stuck to the club colours of amber and black. We were delighted with the end product, a professional, bold and visual sign promoting events and fixtures on at the club.

Our next task was to kit out the main pitch. This involved printing, manufacturing and installing the advertising boards that surround the perimeter of the pitch. The boards were made from ACM (aluminium composite material), a strong material made to withstand impact and retain its shape. The installation was carried out by a two-man team, Ben and Matt.

Axminster Town first team play in the South West Peninsula League Division 1 East, with Axminster Reserves competing in the Devon and Exeter League Division 3. The third team are in Devon & Exeter Division 9. They also run several youth teams. Creative Solutions would like to wish all at Tiger Way the best of luck in the new season, we’ll be keeping track of results!
