Successful Exhibiting
The top seven rules of successful exhibiting
14 April 2011
Marketers and exhibitors use different approaches to reach audiences at trade shows and events, but all those experienced in this field apply their strategies with the same essential rules in mind.
These are the top rules of successful trade show exhibiting, some basic facts that are nearly always true. If you follow these rules, you will join the ranks of seasoned exhibitors and ensure your banner stands are the centre of attention.
Rule #1: The larger the crowd at your display stands, the more people will want to visit
Rule #2: The best people ‘working' your display are those that prioritise listening over talking
Rule #3: The more words you include on your display, tagline or logo, the fewer times it will be read
Rule #4: The more fun visitors have at your display stands, the more serious business you are likely to do with them later
Rule #5: The further a visitor has travelled to attend an exhibition, the higher the level of hospitality they will be expecting
Rule #6: Older exhibition displays make your company seem less fresh and less innovative to visitors
Rule #7: The more you exhibit at the same show, the more likely you are to get repeat visitors
