THE CLIENT

Simon Scott Electrical Contractors was started back in 1972. Since then, their team of qualified electricians have been helping people in Bridport and the surrounding areas of Dorset to smarten up their homes and improve their business premises with modern lighting, heating and wiring.

THE BRIEF

To cope with an ever-increasing workload, thanks in part to personal recommendations from satisfied customers, the company recognised the need to increase their vehicle fleet. They purchased a new Renault Traffic SL27 dci 125 Business plus vehicle. But before putting the van to work, it needed branding with the company's corporate image.

The RESULT

To correctly display Simon Scott Electrical's corporate branding, the work included supplying cut vinyl vehicle graphics as well as printed NIC logos on each of the van's side panels. To ensure a perfect match with their other fleet vehicles, we used Metamark Gloss M7 vinyl in M7 156 Navy, M7 153 Marina, and M7 121 Light Grey.

The price we quoted for the work included all the necessary materials, the setting-up processes, plotting, weeding and applying the graphics to the vehicle. As layouts vary according to vehicle type, our in-house design studio submitted the design to the client for approval prior to any work being carried out.

To ensure that vehicle downtime was kept to a minimum, we agreed on a same-day turnaround. Shortly after the van was cleaned and delivered to our premises, we professionally cleaned the substrates to which the cut graphics were to be applied and set about applying the premade vinyl.

The new Renault Traffic van, complete with its bright, new graphics, has now been added to the company's existing fleet and fits in perfectly with all of their other vehicles.
