THE RESULT
We initiated the process by supplying the client with print samples of our material range. From there, they opted for a smooth satin finish, which is the ideal design choice for a public area such as this. The natural paper feel of the product does not overwhelm the space by being too reflective or polished, while the image remains razor-sharp in stunning high-definition.
We also informed the client that there are a number of different backings available for self-installed wallpaper. In this instance, the Tudor Arms went for the pastable version, but there are many options to choose from.
We are always happy to offer advice on installation, and a guide is available in PDF form on our website. Creative Solutions also offers installations where required.
As far as the actual wallpaper design goes, the client was advised that they could select an image from Shutterstock and we could then purchase it on their behalf to complete the artwork. The final design of the traditional beer casks was certainly in keeping the Tudor Arms’ brief; the sepia tone is understated and the images of the cellar has a traditional feel to it. Perfect for this historic building.
