Retail Signage for the Halff Food Hub

HALFF Food Hub delivers informal cookery classes and advice to help people cook from scratch. Alongside these charitable activities they also run a local produce shop (HALFF's Food Hub) based in Axminster which is a general greengrocer shop. The Food Hub promotes locally sourced, sustainable foods within the community.

THE BRIEF

Design and print signage for the shop

We were contacted by HALFF during the development of the HALFF Food Hub store. We were asked to design and print signage for the shop. A few different pieces were requested, including a fascia sign, window graphics and banner stand.

We met with the client to discuss their ideas and a general brief was created for us to work from. As part of this project we were also asked to install all signage.

THE BRIEF

Graphic design - print - installation

We were asked to produce designs based on the HALFF brand. 60 minutes of design time was booked in for free, in return for a small logo in the shop window. We came up with a few designs and passed these on. The client approved their favourite after which we booked everything in for print at our site in Axminster.

The 6900 x 600 mm fascia sign was printed onto a self-adhesive media with a matte laminate applied to 3mm ACM board. The window graphics were printed onto gloss vinyl in white for application inside the shop. The Zeta banner stand was printed in full colour onto a textured roll-up of 230-micron PVC. The print work came out splendidly and our team built up some of the signage before heading off to the site.

Installation of the signage took our team just a few hours. We wiped everything down clean afterwards, so the shop was good to go. HALFF are delighted with the work and their community store now stands out just as it should.
