WHY CHOOSE AN ISOFRAME DISPLAY

Essential Tips for Isoframe Displays

So now you have decided on your Isoframe display, what about the graphics?

In this article we will discuss some essential tips for Isoframe display graphic design.

Because of their sheer size, Isoframe displays make a great choice for exhibitions who want to get noticed. Isoframe displays usually concentrate on a generic design so that they don’t become too dated after a product launch.

As every panel is the same width (800mm), by incorporating a clever panel by panel design you can alternate panels or change the stand size to suit different display sizes. Some clients even split their stands into two for greater impact or to create a concealed meeting area. Isoframe is really that versatile.

Are you introducing a new product at a trade show or exhibition? If you are, we recommend using one of the panels for the perfect vehicles to make the new product or service stand out . This can then be updated at a later stage (please be appear that replicating adjacent print colours at a later stage cannot be guaranteed). Graphic designers usually follow different design guidelines for Isoframe displays over pop-ups or banner stands.  If you are taking on the job of designing your graphics for your Isoframe display then the following guidelines might be of some help.

POSITIONING

Isoframe display panels are easy to design but please consider what configuration your display is going to be shaped into. Your designer needs to know if there are going to be any blind spots. Don’t put too much information towards the bottom of the display because it won’t get noticed and might be obscured by people or a reception counter. The bottom 36" is the least effective area so use it for less important information. Think carefully about want you want to put in that area.

CAPTIVATE

You have only got a split second to captivate the audience, so don't waste it on your company name or website at the top central area of your display. It is far better to use this space for a short phrase, a sentence, or an attention-grabbing graphic. This is particularly important if you are introducing a new product or service – you want it to stand out so ensure that you place it at eye level.

LESS IS MORE

Do not overcomplicate the design.  The temptation may be to cram as much information onto the display as possible, but a design that is too busy will put people off. Too many bullets result in a message that won't get read, as your audience cannot take all the information in and will switch off.

We’ve printed 1000’s of display walls over the past 12 years and the most effective displays always have one thing in common – A stunningly sharp image covering a large proportion of the graphic area. Bullet points that are hard to read because of a background image can also be a problem. So it is best to create a clean design that has a high impact message.

MESSAGE

Concentrate on one message on your Isoframe display. The graphics should be designed to create maximum impact. If the audience is only going to remember one thing from your exhibition stand, what is it going to be?

The best solution is to limit the entire exhibition stand to one concept, service, or product. You can save specifications for later, perhaps with a literature stand nearby for those that want more information.

For easier alignment try and ensure that any text message that crosses more than one panel has letters that are split between panels.

IMAGES

To create the most stunning professional banner stand, you need pin-sharp graphics. Images need to be of high-resolution quality. For the technically minded, images should be 300dpi @ 25% in CMYK. We will check your artwork on receipt but you do need to be made aware by your designer if any images are not to this standard and he will advise you accordingly of the risks involved in using sub-standard images.
