Exhibition graphics: should you design them yourself or leave it to the experts?

The graphics on your exhibition stand play a huge part in attracting visitor attention, but you need to make sure that it isn't for the wrong reasons.

You can choose the most professional and reputable company in the world to provide you with your display equipment (i.e. display stands, whiteboards, podiums etc.) and print your graphics, but if the design is terrible you will have wasted a lot of time, effort and money. Badly-designed graphics can be a big turn-off for visitors, leaving them with a bad impression of your company before they've even approached the display stand.

So what is the solution? Do you employ a designer to produce your graphics, continue to design them yourself or find a printing company with a design team? The ideal solution is to work alongside a design team, using their experience and talent to produce professional, effective graphics whilst still having an input yourself. This is very important, as only you know your exhibiting strategy and how your graphics will support it.
