Shop Fascia Signage And Antiviral Acrylic Screens For Lou La Belle

THE CLIENT

Lou La Belle, based in Axminster, is a retail store supplying quality ladies’ fashion and accessories. Owner, Louise Wall, sources her products from fashion outlets in Italy and certain locations in the UK—and is able to offer them to her customers for an extremely reasonable price.

Often, major retailers will run lines for just a few weeks, before they are carted off to their warehouses. This is where Louise steps in—she can purchase the products at a fraction of the price and pass the saving on to her customers. High-end fashion, high street prices.

THE BRIEF

Having just recently reopened her Axminster store, after weeks of unexpected closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Louise felt that now was the perfect time to inject new life into her Lou La Belle shopfront with some smart new fascia signage. The client contacted Creative Solutions to see if we could help.

For any retail business in Axminster, shopfront signage is an important, highly-effective method of attracting customers to your store.

A well-thought-out, engaging shopfront will catch the attention of a potential shopper and encourage them to walk through the door. It’s no good having the finest product on the high street, if the customer isn’t first convinced by the aesthetics of your shopfront. Fascia signage can be the embodiment of your brand, and, for a new customer, the first impression of your company.

Lou La Belle offer high-end ladies’ fashion and accessories, so the signage needed to reflect that same level of quality. Stand-off lettering is a popular choice with many retailers in the UK, thanks to its unique visual impact and modern aesthetic—as well as the numerous material and lighting options available. This was the perfect fascia design choice for Lou La Belle.

In addition to the shop signage, Louise was also interested in making use of our Social Distancing (COVID) Range by ordering a set of protective antiviral acrylic screens which could be placed around the store. As businesses in Axminster start to reopen their doors, there’s an added impetus on shop owners to ensure that staff and customers alike are placed in a safe and hygienic environment. These acrylic signs are the ideal product to encourage social distancing and to help prevent the spread of germs.

THE SOLUTION

We provided the client with two sets of white acrylic raised lettering for the shop fascia. The letters were installed on snap fix fittings to achieve the stand-off effect. This gives the signage added dimension and height, contributing to the overall contemporary aesthetic. The finished size of the ‘Lou La Belle’ sign measured 1900mm wide and 219mm high. The grey and white colour scheme is an excellent choice and ideal for a high-quality fashion store such as this.

The installation was completed on time at Trinity House, ready for the client’s reopening following the government’s Coronavirus guidelines.

Creative Solutions also supplied two ready-to-assemble protective acrylic screens which could be used on counters and desks. These free-standing screens were made from 5mm clear acrylic—this would allow customers and employees to engage with each other, while providing a vital anti-germ-spreading shield. A 400 by 200m hole was cut into the acrylic for safe transactions.

Louise couldn’t have been happier with the products and service offered by Creative Solutions. She can now enjoy her stunning new shopfront and focus on running her business in a safe environment.
