THE BRIEF

Treeline approached Creative Solutions about creating some smart new vehicle graphics for their Mitsubishi L200 work truck.

Like any mobile local business in the Axminster area, Treeline understood the importance of having strong, impactful vehicle graphics to promote their services. Local builders, plasterers, plumbers, tree surgeons—any company that spends time on the road every day—would all put themselves at a disadvantage if they didn’t invest in some high-quality, eye-catching branding for their vehicle.

Whether it’s a sign-written van for a local gutter cleaning service, or a full van wrap for an Axminster-based general builders, Creative Solutions can provide the vital advertising tool you’re looking for.

Treeline wanted the main components of the vehicle graphics to centre on their company logo—the simple black silhouette of a tree with their business name underneath. This was an excellent design choice as the solid black artwork would really project against the pristine white background of the truck. The contact details would also be supplied in black—using a large, easily-readable uppercase font for maximum impact.

THE SOLUTION

We provided the client with full-colour printed and cut vehicle graphics for the Mitsubishi L200. The black vinyl Treeline logo, finished with a gloss laminate, was applied to both side doors, with a large version of the artwork being adhered to the bonnet. In addition, a smaller variation of the logo—without the tree—was applied to the back of the cab.

The contact details, also created using cut black vinyl, was applied to the side of the cab, with a subtle white vinyl tree graphic placed underneath. This added more depth to the artwork and made for an interesting visual feature.
