Fleet Vehicle Graphics for Summerleaze Vets

THE CLIENT

Summerleaze Farm and Equine Vets are based in Axminster, on Devonshire’s eastern border. Their expert team of veterinarians are dedicated to the principles of offering first-rate medical assistance and treatment to any animal that might require it. Summerleaze use a combination of contemporary techniques and traditional values to provide the best possible care.

The surgery was established in the 20th Century; its initial function was a mixed practice, tending to horses, livestock, and companion animals. Then, following a period of reconstruction in 1988, the premises were given hospital status—presented by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

THE BRIEF

Creative Solutions have worked with Summerleaze on a multitude of design projects over the years—including a full rebranding of the veterinary practice, and the design and manufacture of new signage for the vet’s work vehicles.

It’s always encouraging to work with clients on a repeat basis. It indicates that we’re creating a quality product that our customers are happy with—and, for our design team, the process is simplified as they already have a sense of the client’s brand and their specific needs.

For this brief, Summerleaze Vets wanted us to create graphics for a Volkswagen Passat estate that was being added to the fleet. It was important that the brand and colour schemes were kept uniform, keeping in line with the existing company vehicles.

THE SOLUTION

Working from the artwork used in previous vehicle graphic jobs for Summerleaze, we provided the client with full-colour printed logos with a premium gloss laminated finish. The recognisable horse and cow images were cut to shape and applied to driver’s and passenger sides respectively.

As with other vehicles in the fleet, the high-quality three-tone logos look very effective against the dark blue of the car. The blue, white and black image really pops. We hope to be working with Summerleaze on another design project very soon.
