Van Graphics for Summerleaze Vets

THE CLIENT

Summerleaze Farm and Equine Vets are based in Axminster, on the eastern border of Devon. Their professional team of veterinarians are committed to providing quality medical assistance and treatment to any animals who come into their expert care. Summerleaze apply modern veterinary techniques while upholding traditional values.

Established in the 20th Century, The Surgery was originally a mixed practice, which tended to livestock, horses and companion animals.

After a rebuild in 1988, the purpose-built premises were given hospital status. This title is presented by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons to those practices upholding first-rate standards of care and treatment, using the latest technology.

THE BRIEF

A few years ago, Creative Solutions assisted Summerleaze with a full rebranding of the veterinary practice. Included in this creative overhaul, was the design and manufacture of new logos and signage for the vet’s work vehicles.

Along similar lines, for this latest project, Summerleaze Vets asked us to produce new graphics for their Renault Kangoo van. It’s always a pleasure to work with clients on a repeat basis—and, for our design team, the process is made that much more straightforward. As well as already having a sense of the client’s brand—consistent graphics help improve brand recognition—there’s also some prior knowledge to their particular requirements. This was certainly the case here.

THE SOLUTION

As always for a project such as this, we sent the client a digital preview of the graphics for them to approve. The familiar cow and horse logos were then cut to shape and printed in full colour and gloss laminated. They consisted of 6 images in total—2 were adhered to each of the side panels of the Kangoo and 2 to the back. The Summerleaze contact details were also printed on the side panels and rear; the client chose vinyl with a gloss white finish, which really stands out on the dark blue tone of the van. Overall, a successful project and a client we hope to work with again soon.
