Parker Hannifin Limited is a global company that operates in 55 countries spread across 6 continents. Specialising in motion and control technologies, the company has been established for over 100 years.

Being a worldwide organisation, they are keen to ensure their corporate identity imagery is the same from country to country. In the UK, they have chosen us here at Creative Solutions to supply their signage and vehicle liveries and to ensure that these products conform with their global branding.

THE BRIEF

Parker's latest instruction to us involved the manufacture and application of a set of vehicle graphics to one of the new long-wheelbase VW Crafters.

Having worked for Parker on a number of occasions, we already had their corporate artworks. All that remained was for our in-house design team to create the right layout for maximum effect on this particular Crafter vehicle. Time is of the essence to most businesses and Parker are no different. We, therefore, promised to carry out the work during the course of one day.

The RESULT

The cut graphics were pre-manufactured to ensure on-time completion. Before the vehicle was delivered to our premises, we had to ensure that the cut graphics had been made. The complete manufacturing process starts with the setting up phase and moves onto plotting and finally weeding. To provide endurance and resistance to ultra-violet bleaching, we chose Metamark M7 gloss vinyl. To comply with the Parker identity, we used a variety of colours, including M7 137 Melon.

Once the vehicle arrived at our premises, and we had professionally cleaned the areas onto which the cut graphics were to be affixed, all that remained was the application process. True to our word, the work was completed in one day.
