Vehicle Graphics Design and Installation for W C Pearce Plastering and Finishing Contractors

THE BRIEF

W C Pearce Plastering and Finishing Contractors approached Creative Solutions seeking a creative vehicle design for a black van. It was important for the client that the design was simple, but dynamic, something that would catch the attention of those passing the van. The client had an existing logo but wanted to add a focal point to the back of the van.

The SOLUTION

Creative Solutions decided to focus on the latter half of the van, as graphics placed in this area can be cropped and enlarged without impacting the brand message or logo. As the brand message was to be displayed towards the front of the van, the rear could be used more creatively. Eventually, the Creative Solutions team decided to focus on the client's niche spray gun use and included spray gun elements into the final design.

The RESULT

The project was completed over the course of a day and the finished product was a single colour adhesive vinyl for wrap back doors and bonnet with 3M 1080 series, a 5-year cast vehicle wrapping film in gloss black and finally a layer of M7-122 pale grey vinyl. The client was delighted with the final result and although the design process and application were initially challenging for Creative Solutions, we were proud of our ability to challenge design norms and exceed our client's expectations.
