The client came to us with a request to update and refresh their signage for their fishing trip business.

Their current signage we had produced before but they wanted a refresh to attract new customers and beat their competition. I recommended that he themed the signs and as they used a pirate flag on their boat, I suggested enhancing this theme.

The main purpose is to win over the customers from their competitors. So I wanted to aim more at the family market and aim towards 'pester power'. I even suggested for the captain to dress as a pirate.

So I entered the world of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" to gain inspiration. It needed to be authentic and not too clichéd. It also needed to convey the information clearly which the client wanted to communicate.

I gave the client two options to choose from, they like them both so much they decided to purchase both.
