Outdoor Signs for St Andrew's B&B, Lyme Regis

St Andrew’s House is a beautiful Bed & Breakfast in Lyme Regis. Located just a 10 minutes’ walk from Sandy Beach and a 15 minutes’ walk from the Marine Aquarium, St Andrew’s House is the perfect base from which to explore Lyme Regis and the surrounding area. The accommodation itself is a real highlight, with beautifully-appointed rooms and a Full English/Irish breakfast available every morning.

THE BRIEF

Design and produce signage for the B&B

We had worked with St Andrew’s House before we were contacted to produce additional signage. We designed their brand and produced their original signage, which comprised over 10 signs installed throughout the property.

The new signage was requested for external application. We were asked to design directional signs to navigate visitors to the reception area. We were also asked to design a risk disclosure notice for the car park and a new vacancies sign. We were also asked to install the new signs for a flawless finish.

THE SOLUTION

Expert design and print and installation

We had a meeting with the client to discuss the number of signs required and a basic format for their design. It was agreed that the new navigational signs should follow the same theme as the original signs, which we already had a basic template for. A prominent grey border would feature on them to satisfy this design criteria.

Printing began at our site in Axminster as soon as the designs were signed off. The graphics for the signs were printed using our digital printer and plotter. The boarding used was Aluminium Composite Material (ACM). This is an exceptionally durable material for outdoor signs. It comes with a 7-year guarantee for peace of mind.

We installed the signs onsite within a few days. The project was turned around inside a working week. The staff at St Andrew’s House are delighted with the new signs.
