Internal Signage Solutions for Chime Health, Exeter

Chime Health are hearing experts in Exeter. They provide a valuable NHS audiology service to assist those suffering from hearing loss. They are a not-for-profit social enterprise representing the best of NHS hearing services in the South West.

Creative Solutions has worked with Chime Health for over 3 years. We’ve helped them with print and design work on several projects over this period.

THE BRIEF

Create a unique lightbox system

One of our more recent projects was to design and print a unique PVC fabric lightbox system. We were asked to create a system that would allow the lightbox hardware to stay intact and the printed graphic to be easily changed to suit changing messages and marketing material. This would be used indoors.

Once we understood what the client wanted and the effect they wanted to create for their customers, we created the hardware and print work that matched their expectations.

THE SOLUTION

Custom build, print and install

Once the brief was signed off, we got to work immediately.

The client wanted their lightbox system to work in a way that made it easy for the printed graphics to be swapped out as needed. We decided on a Tension Fabric System with a silicone bead all around the edge which slots into the frame.

In addition to the lightbox, we printed an array of A0 posters to be used as part of the clients promotional displays using a tension display system. It was decided that for best results, a 180gsm silk paper would be used. This would allow us to print at a very high resolution and create the crispest, pin-sharp resolution posters. All print work was completed at our site in Axminster using state-of-the-art digital printers.

We travelled to Exeter to install the lightboxes for the client. We turned around the project in a matter of days to an impeccable standard. Chime Health were delighted with the results and now have a flexible way to display information to visitors.
